ZO6 LOWER FIXED LICENSE PLATE BRACKET
Thank-you for the purchase of our new Z06 LOWER FIXED LICENSE PLATE BRACKET product. When installed correctly this product will reposition your front license plate to a more suitable location. The Best part is that it looks great!
TOOLS AND ADDITIONAL ITEMS REQUIRED
1) Socket set and Philips Screwdriver or hex tool
2) lock Tight or equivalent for all bolts
INSTALLATION TIME – 20 minutes
Before you begin, insure that you have the right kit for your car.
Z06 FIXED FRONT LICENSE BRACKET KIT (Matte Black) - 8000Z06NR STEP # 1: Preparation
Line up the two holes between the bracket and the plate. Uncover the adhesive (remove red strip) and mount the plate to the bracket. Insert the two screws and tighten. (Note: 8000Z06NR does not come with the two mounting cups shown in the picture below.) NOTE : USE LOCK TIGHT OR THE EQUIVALENT ON THE BOLTS TO PREVENT THEM FROM COMING LOOSE !
STEP# 2 INSTALLATION
Safely raise the car and secure it on jack stands.
From under the car remove the 3 bolts holding the tar paper air deflector. This is necessary to gain access to the inner bolts. We suggest that you replace the paper GM piece with the C6 & Z06 LOWER AIR DAM INTAKE EURO GRILLE KIT when re-installing.
Place the bracket up to the plastic grille as shown and insert the screw bolts.
(Note: The grille DOES NOT need to be removed form the vehicle.)
From the inside of the grille, insert the small bracket and washers. Mount and tighten the nuts until the plate holder is secure on the vehicle. Do not over tighten! NOTE : USE LOCK TIGHT OR THE EQUIVALENT ON THE BOLTS TO PREVENT THEM FROM COMING LOOSE !
Mount the license plate to the bracket ( mounting hardware not included in the kit) We recommend that you use a plastic / nylon nut and bolt combination

The product is designed to last the entire life of your car under normal conditions. The product will resist heat, cold, rain and wind. Although this product is durable, it will not survive a major curb impact or a front-end collision.
