Z06 FRONT EURO GRILLE EXTERIOR
Thank-you for the purchase of our new Z06 FRONT EURO GRILLE EXTERIOR product. When installed correctly this product will reposition your front license plate to a more suitable location. The Best part is that it looks great!
Thank-you for the purchase of our new C6 Z06 FRONT EURO GRILLE EXTERIOR KIT product. When installed correctly this product will keep your radiator and condenser protected for the life of your car. The Best part is that it looks great!
The Exterior Euro Grille kit is designed to be installed in front of the original plastic. Please follow the installation and care instructions exactly to insure you get the maximum usage and benefits from the Z06 GRILL KIT Product.
TOOLS AND ADDITIONAL ITEMS REQUIRED
1) Socket set and wrenches 2) Screwdriver 3) Lock tight or equivalent
INSTALLATION TIME – 40 minutes
Before you begin, insure that you have the right kit for your car.
STEP # 1: Preparation Raise the front of the car and securely support it with jack stands. STEP# 2 INSTALLATION From under the car remove the 3 bolts holding the tar paper air deflector. This is necessary to gain access to the inner bolts. We suggest that you replace the paper GM piece with the C6 & Z06 LOWER AIR DAM INTAKE EURO GRILLE KIT when re-installing.
Set into place the now Z06 Front Euro Grille against the original plastic grille.
Set into place the large mounting bracket and the two small mounting brackets against the back of the original GM plastic Grille. You will need to access this area through the underside of the car. It is suggested that you apply a small amount of epoxy to the top and bottom areas of the bracket before setting it into place.
From the outside, insert the long bolts, 2 per bracket. From the inside, place the nut on the bolt and tighten until firm. (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN) During this step, it it critical that you place a small amount of Lock Tight of an equivalent to the nuts before installing, to insure they do not come loose.
Reinstall the tar paper air deflector. We suggest that you replace the paper GM piece with the C6 & Z06 LOWER AIR DAM INTAKE EURO GRILLE KIT when re-installing. FINISHED
