Z06 EURO ROUND HOLE SIDE VENT STAINLESS STEEL GRILLE KIT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Thank-you for the purchase of our new Z06 EURO SIDE VENT GRILLE KIT product.
Please follow the installation and care instructions exactly to insure you get the maximum usage and benefits from the ZO6 EURO SIDE VENT GRILL KIT Product.
TOOLS AND ADDITIONAL ITEMS REQUIRED
1) Socket set and wrenches 2) Screwdriver (flat head) 3) Scissors 4) Pliers 5) Automotive Goop or equivalent Epoxy
INSTALLATION TIME – 1/2 hour per side
Before you begin, insure that you have the right kit for your car.
STEP # 1: Preparation
Raise the car and securely support it. Remove the front wheel from the car from the car. Remove pushpins (Use a flat head screwdriver) and 2 bolts holding the inner fender cover in place. Remove the inner fender cover.
Once you have access to the inner fender, you will notice that a inner vent retainer is holding the outer vent in place.
Remove the inner vent retainer.
You can now remove the outer vent from the car.
Thoroughly clean the two grills using a degreaser.
You may also wish to further polish the grilles using a metal rubbing polish.
STEP # 2: installation
Cut the adhesive strips to fit the tabs on the side Grilles
Position the 3 Euro Grilles on back for the outer Z06 vent and bend the tabs so that they are held in place.
Position the adhesive strips on the metal tabs and install on the Z06 Vent.
Once the adhesive has set in about 1/2 hour, cover the top and sides of the metal tabs with an epoxy, such as automotive goop.
NOTE : DO NOT INSTALL THE ZO6 EURO VENT GRILLES USING THE ADHESIVE STRIPS ALONE. EPOXY MUST BE USED FOR A SECURE FIT.
Once the epoxy is dry, reinstall the vent onto the vehicle and install the retaining backing vent.
FINISHED !
CARE OF THE Z06 EURO ROUND HOLE STAINLESS STEEL SIDE VENT GRILLE KIT PRODUCT
The product is designed to last the entire life of your car under normal conditions. The product will resist heat, cold, rain, wind, and impacts. Although this product is durable, it will not survive a major impact or A collision.
Your Z06 EURO GRILLE KIT is high quality stainless steel and can be cleaned normal car wash soap. You may also a stainless steel polish and a buffer to increase the shine factor. (You must wait 24 hours before attempting to clean the grilles)
