C-4 DASH KEY SCRATCH GUARD

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Thank-you for the purchase of our new C-4 Dash key scratch protector product. When installed correctly this product will prevent scratch marks from your keys on your dashboard.

Please follow the installation and care instructions exactly to insure you get the maximum usage and benefits from this product

TOOLS AND ADDITIONAL ITEMS REQUIRED

1) Hobby knife or X-acto knife

2) Rubbing alcohol

3) Philips screwdriver

Before you begin, insure that you have the proper product: Clear, or Gloss Black

STEP # 1 : Surface Preparation

In order for the product to adhere correctly to the dashboard surface, it must be free of all wax, grease, oil or cleaner.

1) Use rubbing alcohol ONLY, to clean the surface.

STEP # 2 : Product Application

1) Remove the screw using a Philips screwdriver. Apply 2 pieces of masking tape, one on the top of the product and the other on the bottom. Then pull the 2 pieces of tape apart, which will separate the product from its backing. Handle the product without the backing by the edges only!

Carefully position the product and apply. Using a cloth gently rub the film to insure adhesion.

1) Using the hobby knife, make a small slit in the product directly above the screw hole. (Note: before installation, measure and mark the screw hole position) Caution, once product is applied, it cannot be removed or it will lose it adhesive properties.

4) Re-install the screw.
