C-6 LOWER LICENSE PLATE BRACKET QUICK RELEASE SYSTEM

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL VERSIONS

Thank-you for the purchase of our new C6 LOWER LICENSE PLATE BRACKET QUICK RELEASE SYSTEM product. When installed correctly you will be able to quickly remove the front plate bracket.

TOOLS AND ADDITIONAL ITEMS REQUIRED

1) Socket set, wrenches Philips screwdriver and drill

INSTALLATION TIME – 20 minutes

STEP # 1: Preparation

CAUTION !

Before you begin, it is suggested that you use make a grove in the cups.

This will allow you to remove the magnet using a screwdriver. Without the grove, it will be next to impossible to remove the magnet. You can use a grind tool.

Remove the C6 Lower License Plate Bracket from the vehicle.

Remove the two lower bolts.

STEP# 2 INSTALLATION

Insert the two magnet cups and attach them using the two new screws included in the kit. Insure that the groves in the cup face out.

Insure that the screws are tight. (It is recommended that you use lock tight.)

Insert the two magnets in the cups.

Place the C6 Lower License Plate Bracket in position and drill two small holes into the plastic. ( were silver screws are)

Remove the plate holder and install the remaining cups and magnets.

Insert the C6 Lower License Plate. It may me necessary to bend the legs and feet slightly to insure a desired fit.

To remove C6 Plate Holder, simply pull up and forward.

Install the license plate to the plate backing using the 4 screws or other hardware. These items are not included in the kit. We recommend nylon or plastic nuts and bolts.
