C6 EURO GRILLE EXTREME KIT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Thank-you for the purchase of our new C6 EURO GRILLE
EXTREME
product. When installed correctly this product will keep your radiator
and condenser protected for the life of your car. The Best part is that
it looks great!
The new EURO
GRILLE EXTREME KIT is designed to be installed behind the original
plastic.
Please follow the installation and care instructions
exactly to insure you get the maximum usage and benefits from the C6
GRILLE KIT Product.
TOOLS AND
ADDITIONAL ITEMS REQUIRED

Drill and
drill bit

Socket set
and wrenches

Screwdriver
(flat head)
4)
Jacks
INSTALLATION TIME –
1 to 2 hours
Before you begin,
insure that you have the right kit for your car.
There
are several New GM clips that need to be removed. Using a flat head
screwdriver, gently raise the head of the clip. Once the head of the
clip is raised (releasing the lock), remove the clip. (See diagram
below)


STEP # 1: Preparation
(NECESSARY) The plastic GM grille can be removed using these steps.
Raise the front of the car and securely support it with
jack stands.
Remove the left and right lower brake duct panel ( Fig
#2) This will give you access to the inner attaching
hardware.
Remove left and right brake ducting (turn and remove)
Remove the drivers side lower front light (3 bolts)

With the brake duct off, remove the 4 push clips holding the
plastic GM grille (clips are inside the bottom air opening as well)
(Clip removing tool would be help full here)

Remove the 3 bolts on the bottom of the front fascia (#9
in Fig 7 diagram)
Remove the 5 horizontal bolts holding the plastic GM
grille to the bumper (#4 in Fig 7 diagram)
Remove the 5 vertical bolts holding the plastic GM grille
to the bumper (#3 in Fig 7 diagram)

Once you have removed the necessary attaching hardware
and the plastic GM grille is loose, place towels along the front for the
car, to protect the pant while you remove the grille. ( Fig #8)
remove the front grille from the car through the driver’s side brake
duct space.

Caution : Use care not to disrupt the wiring in the brake
duct area
Note front bumper does not need to be removed!
